Update: The tower planned for Independence Plaza
Dec 5, 2024 · After a flurry of announcements, things got kind of quiet regarding the proposed tower for Independence Plaza. You can see the full details in this post here, but in short: the two owners of Independence Plaza, Vornado Realty Trust and Stellar Management, intend to build a 940-foot tower on their complex at Greenwich and Jay, the southern half of IP called 3C.

Dec 2, 2024 · The NYPD confirmed that an unidentified man died sometime during the night last night on Franklin Street. The 911 call came in at 5:23 am and police found a man lying in front of 142 Franklin, just west of Varick, unconscious and unresponsive.

Marky’s and HŪSO will open later this fall and winter
