Victoria Square House, is an office building on the south side of Victoria Square, Birmingham, England. It was formerly Birmingham's Head Post Office, designed in the French Renaissance style by architect for the Office of Works Henry Tanner for the General Post Office.

Feb 16, 2023 · The General Post Office built in 1890, was designed by Sir Henry Tanner of the Office of Works. Its design is simple, French Renaissance chateau style with pediments, cupolas and dome. The Birmingham Victorian Society carried out a successful campaign to save the building from demolition in 1973.

The General Post Office viewed from Paradise Street. It was built in 1889-91 by Sir Henry Tanner. Tanner worked as an architect for the government in Her Majesty's Office of Works.
