Dec 11, 2024 · TXG was sold to Club Champion, and my understanding is that when it was sold Ian agreed to stay on for a year during the transition period, which included making videos under the Club Champion brand. That one year is up, Ian has left Club Champion and started his own company called Ian Fraser Golf, which I presume can't do any clubfitting

May 25, 2023 · TXG is definitely better than any other fitter in terms of equipment availability etc. The knowledge they have is pretty extensive on what will work just based on seeing you swing etc. It's definitely worth it if you are looking long term on irons as they upcharge for all shafts as they build them in house.

Apr 18, 2023 · Along with TXG, they acquired fitting operations in the UK and Australia. The majority owner of TXG was an outside investor who I'm sure was ready to cash out. I'd anticipate that Ian fades away from CC/TXG eventually and then resurfaces elsewhere once any non-compete expires. Years ago, Hot Stix was purchased by a private equity group.

Oct 11, 2022 · TXG isn't some huge conglomerate with Ian as a spokesperson. If there was a lawsuit, I can't see Ian even capitulating, let alone without any awkwardness as TXG is his baby. I'd bet he'd let the online content die and just build clubs before he was forced to take somebody back into the fold.
