SAN ANTONIO — The Utah Jazz are now 2-7 on the season, with both of the team’s wins coming on this four-game road trip. The latest was a 111-110 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday that went all the way down to the wire.

After losing its first seven games of the season, the Utah Jazz are suddenly getting hot. The Jazz wrapped up a four-game road trip with it second victory of the trip and of the season, beating the San Antonio Spurs,

Victor Wembanyama became just the second player in NBA history to post six 3-pointers and seven blocks in a game, but the Spurs fell to the Jazz 111-110.

Despite the loss, Victor Wembanyama finished with an impressive 24 points, 16 rebounds and seven blocks while shooting 8/15 from the field and 6/9 from the three-point range in 33 minutes of playing time.

Collin Sexton scored 23 points, Lauri Markkanen added 20 and the Utah Jazz held off the San Antonio Spurs 111-110 on Saturday, overcoming 24 points, 16 rebounds and seven blocks from Victor Wembanyama.

Victor Wembanyama, Stephon Castle and Devin Vassell had good games, but the Spurs were too sloppy as a team to beat an inferior opponent.
