As reported by Business Wire, developer Krafton and Nvidia unveiled a new application of AI technology called Co-Playable Character during CES 2025. By using a local AI powered by a small language model, the companies claim to be able to create NPCs that can interact with users like chatbots and imitate the decision-making of a human.
