The world's wealthiest man -- who owns social media platform X -- has in a string of posts attacked several European leaders and ruffled feathers on the continent.

Tesla tycoon Elon Musk’s endorsement of Alternative for Germany (AfD) could legitimise the far-Right party among business people and ordinary voters, easing its eventual path to power, a member of the movement has said.

Musk’s endorsement came in the form of an editorial in Die Welt am Sonntag, a conservative newspaper, where he praised the AfD’s anti-immigration and low-tax policies, claiming they could stop Germany from “becoming a shadow of its former self.”
