The winner of this summer's Club World Cup could win as much as $125 million from the tournament's $1 billion pot in total prize money, ensuring there will be a major financial incentive to participate in a competition that has been unpopular with many influential figures in the sport.

“The distribution model of the FIFA Club World Cup reflects the pinnacle of club football and represents the biggest-ever prize money for a football tournament comprising of a seven-match group stage and play-off format with a potential payout of $125m foreseen for the winners,” said Infantino.

“The agreement to hold the exclusive global broadcast rights to the Fifa Club World Cup 2025 marks the start of a broader partnership between DAZN and Fifa. This includes integrating Fifa+, Fifa’s library of iconic football moments and full-match replays, as well as live fixtures, into the DAZN platform.”
