Louisiana Congressman Clay Higgins has requested President Trump to increase tariffs and trade enforcement on imported seafood. Higgins argues that increased tariffs will protect Louisiana's seafood industry, which is facing challenges from cheap imports.

Rep. Clay Higgins (R-Lafayette) delivered an official letter to President Donald Trump Tuesday requesting tariffs and increased trade enforcement for seafood imports from China, Ecuador, India, Indonesia and Vietnam.
