The New Orleans Saints choice for head coach in Kellen Moore has been widely praised across the league, and recently received more from the Eagles GM.

After the departure of former offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, who was hired to be the head coach of the New Orleans Saints shortly after the Eagles’ Super Bowl win, Philadelphia is promoting from within, giving Kevin Patullo the keys to the offense.

Doug Nussmeier, the Philadelphia Eagles' quarterbacks coach, is being hired as the New Orleans Saints' new offensive coordinator, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo reported.

The Saints have also interviewed Eagles quarterbacks coach Doug Nussmeier and assistant head coach/running backs coach Jemal Singleton for their offensive coordinator opening and Philadelphia defensive backs coach Christian Parker is in the mix for defensive coordinator.

PHILADELPHIA — The Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles have promoted Kevin Patullo to offensive coordinator following the departure of Kellen Moore, the team announced Wednesday. Patullo joined the Eagles’ staff as passing game coordinator in 2021 when coach Nick Sirianni was hired, and he became associate head coach in 2023.

Kellen Moore has filled out the core of his New Orleans Saints offensive coaching staff, and it culminated with the hiring of Doug Nussmeier at offensive coordinator. There are still some assistant positions available,

As the NFL offseason continues, Philadelphia Eagles fans shouldn't be surprised if these three players follow Kellen Moore to the New Orleans Saints.
