With St. Patrick’s Day celebrations picking up around the United States, here is what you need to know about this year’s Boston St. Patrick’s Day parade.

They’re banning alcohol on all LIRR and Metro-North trains. The LIRR is adding two westbound trains on the Babylon line and two on the Ronkonkoma line, all of which will stop at Grand Central Madison, just one block from the parade route along Fifth Avenue.
