The PGA Tour is moving next month's Genesis Invitational to an alternate site because of wildfires in Los Angeles.

The PGA Tour has decided to relocate February's Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades because of the fires in the Los Angeles area.

The PGA Tour is moving the Genesis Invitational out of Riviera Country Club next month because of the deadly wildfires that have decimated part of Los Angeles.

The PGA Tour announced Thursday afternoon that the dates of the Feb. 13-16 signature event, which is run by Tiger Woods' foundation, will stay the same, though there will be an "alternate location" that the Tour hopes to determine in the "coming days."

The Genesis Invitational is far from the only sporting event impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires. The NBA's Lakers and Clippers and NHL's Kings have had games postponed. Monday night's Wild Card Weekend matchup between the LA Rams and Minnesota Vikings was moved to Arizona as well.
