The NBA just experienced one of the most active trade deadlines in league history. Luka Doncic, Jimmy Butler, Anthony Davis, De’Aaron Fox, Zach LaVine and a host of others were traded — in some cases, for each other. But the Portland Trail Blazers sat out the frenzy, which came to a halt at noon Thursday.

With L.A. eyeing Williams to fill the void left by Anthony Davis, Portland must decide whether to cash in on their veterans or continue their recent momentum.

The NBA trade deadline recently passed with much anticipation surrounding Portland Trail Blazers. As a team in the midst of a rebuilding season, expectations were high that the Blazers would make some significant moves.

NBA teams and players’ names are being tossed around the airwaves and social media ahead of Thursday’s noon trade deadline. Very little chatter, however, has included the Portland Trail Blazers or their players.
