SEATTLE (AP) — The Seattle Mariners acquired infielder Miles Mastrobuoni from the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday for cash. Mastrobuoni, 29, hit .194 with four RBIs in 50 games for Chicago last year.

The Mariners acquired utility player Miles Mastrobuoni in a trade with the Chicago Cubs on Jan. 14 in return for cash.

Miles Mastrobuoni singled to lead off the third, advanced to second on Pete Crow-Armstrong's bunt single and scored on a groundout by Hoerner to give Chicago a 1-0 lead.
