New start date expected to be announced sometime next week, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

An uninterrupted nine-month-long detour of Pennsylvania-bound traffic at the Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Toll-Supported Bridge is scheduled to begin approximately 6 a.m. Thursday.

Many customers would walk along the path by the Delaware and Raritan canal about a quarter mile south from downtown Frenchtown to enjoy Klein's fresh food with ingredients from local farms.
