According to his obituary, he died at Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri. His brother Chad Schwieterman also shared the news in a March 1 Facebook post, revealing that the late former actor “recently found out he had an aggressive form of stage 4 cancer.” The type of cancer was not specified.
