After just 11 games, Davante Adams' time with the New York Jets has come to an end. CBS Sports NFL insider Jonathan Jones reports that the Jets are officially releasing the 32-year-old. This release comes after the club initially tried to stop the veteran receiver.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Los Angeles Rams are trading Jackson to the Chicago Bears in exchange for a 2025 sixth-round pick. Per the offseason schedule, the trade cannot be officially processed until March 12. The Bears will also take on Jackson’s $17.5 million salary for the upcoming season.

Chicago is set to send Los Angeles a 2025 sixth-round pick in exchange for Jackson, ESPN’s Courtney Cronin reports. This deal will allow for a reunion between Jackson and Bears head coach Ben Johnson. The pair previously worked together in Detroit.
