Efforts are well underway to clean up debris flows caused by storms that rolled through SoCal as well as mitigate damage that could potentially be caused by future rainfall. The Pacific Coast Highway is back open in Malibu, California, nearly a month after the deadly Palisades Fire ripped through hillside Los Angeles neighborhoods, destroying properties all the way down to the beach.

Pacific Coast Highway reopened Monday morning, but authorities warned drivers using the route to expect delays. As of 8 a.m., motorists could again use Highway 1 through the cities of Los Angeles, Santa Monica and Malibu, according to a news release from the California Department of Transportation.
