A Columbus woman is facing charges following an early December stabbing investigation. According to CPD, Shamone Huggins was initially charged with aggravated assault after she was taken into custody.

A Columbus woman has been charged with murder after a stabbing this month. The Columbus Police Department added the murder charge against Shamone Huggins, 28, after Nigel Holmes, 33, died Dec. 14 from his injuries while hospitalized, CPD announced Friday. The case was reassigned to CPD’s Violent Crimes Unit.
