External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at the G20 meeting in South Africa. They discussed India-Russia bilateral cooperation and the ongoing Ukraine conflict.

Ukrainian foreign minister Andrii Sybiha said on Thursday he had discussed ways to achieve a just and lasting peace in the conflict with Russia in talks with U.S. special envoy Keith Kellogg.

In a post later on X, Jaishankar said, “Reviewed the continued progress of India-Russia bilateral cooperation. Discussed recent developments pertaining to the Ukraine conflict, including his Riyadh meeting.
