The National Weather Service is surveying areas just south of Louisville after storms rolled through early Thursday.
NWS confirms EF-1 tornado in northern Hart County
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) -Crews from the National Weather Service confirmed an EF-1 in Hart County on Thursday, February 6. The tornado was reported one mile south of the LaRue/Hart County line near 31E in Northeast Hart County. Winds were measured at 95mph.

An Amber Alert has been issued for a pregnant Wisconsin teen, who police believe is with the 40-year-old man who impregnated her. Gary Day, 40, "is known to be the father of the unborn child," according to the alert. Franklin has a no-contact order against Day, according to the alert.
