Roughly 100 Los Angeles firefighters responded to a fire at Westlake's historic Pacific Dining Car restaurant. Once inside, firefighters determined the attic was damaged along with the roof.

This marks the second fire at the iconic restaurant within one year. The century-old, official historic cultural monument was heavily damaged by fire in August 2024​.

Firefighters battled a blaze at the site of a landmark restaurant in Los Angeles Thursday morning. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, crews were attempting to save the Pacific Dining Car steakhouse located at 1310 W 6th Street in the Westlake neighborhood of L.
