Some white South Africans have showed support for President Donald Trump and gathered at the U.S. Embassy in Pretoria to claim they are victims of racism by their own government.

Trump and his allies have targeted South Africa, promoting the false narrative that white people are being mistreated by the nation’s post-apartheid government.

Rural violence is a huge problem in South Africa that deserves a strong response. But white people are not the only casualties.
