COLUMBUS, Ohio — Akron’s LeBron James was in attendance in Atlanta for Ohio State’s national title win over Notre Dame on Monday — and he’s letting that inspire him through his 22nd season. It wasn’t just that he was excited about the 34-23 win over the Irish, but the Los Angeles Lakers star said that motivated him by what he saw.

The Buckeyes defeated The Irish 34-24 for its first national championship since 2014.

Few things in life are certain, but LeBron James rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes is something that can never be questioned.

Ohio State is rolling in the College Football Playoff national title game. And no one is enjoying it more than LeBron James. The Akron native, and known Ohio State fan, is in Atlanta for the game between the Buckeyes and Notre Dame for college football's national title.

There were quite a few celebrities on hand to watch the Buckeyes face the Fighting Irish with a national title on the line.
