Former senior leaders of MKP, Floyd Shivambu, Busisiwe Mkhwebane as well as Dali Mpofu left the red berets to join MKP. MKP is now the third largest party with only less than a year of being launched.

This comes after the departure of several high-profile EFF leaders such as Floyd Shivambu, Busisiwe Mkhwebane, Mzwanele Manyi and now Dali Mpofu. All of them have joined the MK party in recent weeks.
