WENGEN, Switzerland (AP) — The powerful Switzerland men’s ski team won its home World Cup super-G on Friday, though it was Franjo von Allmen getting his first career win as Marco Odermatt had a rare poor result.

Lindsey Vonn was the victim of a crash in Italy and suffered some bruises during downhill training for the World Cup on Thursday. Vonn, an accomplished skier and one of the sport’s most celebrated, took a spill just before the end of the practice but escaped serious injury.
