On Thursday at 3:14 a.m. a winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Friday between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. for Carbon, Monroe, Lehigh and Northampton counties.

An updated winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 3:31 p.m. in effect until Monday at 1 a.m. for Berks, Lehigh and Bucks counties. "Additional snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches," says the weather service.
