FOXBORO -- The New England Patriots are hiring former Detroit Lions defensive line coach Terrell Williams to be their new defensive coordinator, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter and Mike Reiss.

Josh McDaniels is the offensive coordinator of the New England Patriots once again. McDaniels has been hired by New England after interviewing with new head coach Mike Vrabel for the role on Tuesday.

The coordinators for the 2025 season are set for the New England Patriots. Coach Mike Vrabel put together a staff of familiar faces, including offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, defensive coordinator Terrell Williams and special teams coordinator Jeremy Springer.

To that point, the Commanders went from the worst turnover margin in the league in 2023 (-14) to 15th (+1) in 2024. Similarly, the Houston Texans, who have now made the playoffs two years in a row after finishing 3-13-1 in 2022, jumped from 19th in turnover margin (-1) to eighth in 2023 and 2024 (+10, +9).
