Isabella Rossellini missed out on the best supporting actress Oscar at the Academy Awards on Sunday, after being nominated for her portrayal of a strong-willed nun in Conclave, Edward Berger's adaptation of the Robert Harris thriller on cardinal conspiracy.

After the passing of her Blue Velvet director David Lynch in January, Isabella Rossellini took to social media and expressed her love for him. Rossellini, who dated Lynch for five years, paid another tribute to the filmmaker as she went to the Oscars clad in a blue velvet robe on Monday.
