After being out of action due to a left hamstring strain since Nov. 6, star New Orleans Pelicans power forward Zion Williamson has made progress in his recovery and could be on pace to return to action soon. Pelicans head coach Willie Green confirmed that Williamson has been participating in practice in a limited capacity.

Zion Williamson (hamstring) is expected to return to full practice next week, while Brandon Ingram (ankle) will be reexamined in around two weeks.

Zion Williamson has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury when the Pelicans will face the Houston Rockets at Smoothie King Center.

The Pelicans announced Tuesday that Williamson, out of action since Nov. 6 with a left hamstring strain, has "begun the return to play conditioning phase of his rehabilitation program and is expected to return to full practice next week." It was further noted that Williamson is "week-to-week" in his return.
