This year, athletes were joined by local organizations, middle and high school students, and Center Grove graduate and Kansas City Chiefs running back Carson Steele.

Special Olympics Indiana’s Polar Plunge returned to Terre Haute and Indiana State University Saturday afternoon. This is the 26th year of this event that challenges individuals and teams to make a difference by taking a dip in icy waters.

Winter weather helped to excite participants of the 24th annual Rochester Polar Plunge, as more than 900 participants gathered to raise money for Special Olympics Minnesota.

The Eugene Polar Plunge is an annual event that raises money for Special Olympics Oregon. Special Olympics Oregon provides opportunities for athletes to compete at local, regional and statewide levels. The fundraiser supports over 5,000 athletes in Special Olympics across Oregon.
