"The Chiefs get all the calls!"  Is that true? It's one of the storylines dangling over the Super Bowl 59 matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. Kansas City has the reputation of getting favorable treatment from NFL officials this season - and a series of controversial calls in a variety of fashions were examined and re-examined and put out in the social media court of public opinion this season.

In the leadup to the Super Bowl, a lot of the spotlight has fallen on the two-time defending champion Kansas City Chiefs — and the perceived bias the team receives from league officials. Some even claim the referees are rigging things in favor of the Chiefs.

Josh Allen had another incredible season in 2024 as he led the Buffalo Bills to a 13-4 record and the AFC championship game where they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs. Allen's performance throughout the year made him the MVP after he was voted the most overrated quarterback in the league in an anonymous ESPN poll during the preseason.

Josh Allen edged out Lamar Jackson again. Nearly three weeks after the Bills quarterback led Buffalo to a victory over the Ravens in the divisional round of the playoffs to end Baltimore’s season, Allen was named The Associated Press NFL Most Valuable Player for the first time Thursday night.
