India's northeastern state of Manipur has been placed on high alert after intelligence reports of a potential influx of 900 suspected Kuki militants from Myanmar, a senior security official said on Friday.

Imphal: As tensions over Manipur continues, Manipur CM N Biren Singh forwarded a purported intelligence report about the influx of 900 Tribals from Myanmar, who are trained in the use of drones, missiles and other skills as part of a mission to launch a coordinated attack on villages in Imphal later this month,
