Before Final Fantasy 8 Rebirth launched, fans wondered how it was going to handle the original game's big tragedy. It's fair to say that the confusing nature of Rebirth's ending disappointed a lot of fans and led to mixed reactions.

The director of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has asked people to hold back the reins with inappropriate mods, but otherwise has great respect for the mod scene and enjoys the fan output himself.

Evidently, FF7 Rebirth is another SSD -hogging gigantogame, though for some the bigger concern will be those minimum GPU specs. While none of the Radeon, RX 6600, Arc A580, or RTX 2060 are high-end cards in themselves, the official listings' emphasis on meeting at least these specific hardware generations does reveal an unusually high fussiness.
