Digg to make comeback as co-founder Rose, Reddit's Ohanian bet on AI-driven revival
Digg founder Kevin Rose has teamed up with former rival Alexis Ohanian to buy the once-popular content aggregator as they bet on an artificial intelligence-powered revival of the platform that once drew around 40 million monthly visitors.

Digg – once known as “the homepage of the internet” – is making a come-back, after being bought by its co-founder Kevin Rose in partnership with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. It’s an interesting move given that Reddit was a competitor who pretty much inherited that “homepage of the web” accolade.
Digg is now back under the ownership of original founder Kevin Rose, who is joined by Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.
