Nintendo will retail the Switch 2 for $449.99 at launch, which is significantly higher than the original Switch's $299 price tag. A separate bundle that includes the new "Mario Kart World" game will also be available for $499.99.

The next Mario Kart game, Mario Kart World, has been officially unveiled as a Switch 2 launch title, and it's getting its very own dedicated Nintendo Direct stream later this month.

During today’s big Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, Nintendo showed off a whole bunch of games coming to the system. Many will launch on June 5th alongside Switch 2, including Mario Kart World, enhanced editions of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, and new chapters in Toby Fox’s Deltarune. I think it’s a solid lineup!
