GOP lawmaker rips ‘This is not normal’ sign out of protesting Dem rep’s hands before Trump speech
The sign was only visible for a few seconds before Rep. Lance Gooden (R-Texas) noticed it and ripped the sheet of paper out of Stansbury’s hands. Gooden, who has represented Texas’ 5th District since 2019, then tossed the sign into the air.
