“We thank the Board of Governors for their strong support of our initiative to provide modern on campus housing for our students,” FAMU President Larry Robinson said in a prepared statement.

FAMU welcomed about 2,700 students to campus ... students waitlisted and 180 of those students were able to get housing on campus. Others changed their minds entirely about attending the university.
