A high street fashion chain with a Stoke-on-Trent branch has declared bankruptcy after closing 35 stores last month. The Select Fashion shop at the Longton Exchange had survived the cull.
In June 2023, Boots revealed plans to shut down 650 outlets and by the end of 2024, it had closed 300, significantly reducing its high street presence from 2,200 shops to approximately 1,800.
