A multi-state AMBER Alert for 17-year-old Sophia Franklin has been canceled after she was found safe, nearly nine weeks after going missing, according to the Beaver Dam Police Department.

BEAVER DAM, Wis. - An Amber Alert for Sophia Franklin, a pregnant teen from Beaver Dam, has been canceled. Police said Franklin was found safe nearly 500 miles from home on Wednesday – her 17th birthday.

Gary Day, the man who was arrested for kidnapping a pregnant Beaver Dam teenager, pleaded not guilty to a pair of misdemeanor charges in a Nebraska courtroom Friday.

Sophia Franklin, a 17-year-old from Beaver Dam, was found safe near Omaha, Nebraska, after being missing for two months. Sophia was Gary Day, 40, who is now in custody and is the father of Sophia's unborn child.
