Hundreds of protesters gathered outside the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's office in Boulder after the Trump administration laid off hundreds of workers from the agency.

Hundreds of protesters gathered outside Boulder’s U.S. Department of Commerce building on Monday to oppose layoffs of federal National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration employees.

"I was in church yesterday and I wept for my country," said former U.S. Congressman David Skaggs who organized the protest. "We need to take a deep breath and gather our courage and stand up for what we know is right.
