When the Nets faced the Celtics in recent seasons, the results did not favor Brooklyn. Boston is 11-1 in the past 12 regular-season meetings with Brooklyn and has won the past five. Of the Celtics’ 11 wins in that span, eight have been by double digits.

With a game in the books against the Nets already, we expect the Celtics to take Brooklyn a bit more seriously from the tip.

The good news for the Celtics is that Jayson Tatum was removed from the injury report entirely after being questionable on Tuesday night with a sore ankle. He appeared to tweak the injury in the closing minutes of Tuesday’s loss to the Hawks in NBA Cup action but said after the game he was fine.
