The NTSB released a preliminary report on the close call at Chicago Midway, where a Flexjet plane crossed the same runway where a Southwest flight was coming in to land.

A Flexjet pilot taxiing for takeoff Feb. 25 was blinded by sunlight and became disoriented on the airfield, confusing one runway for another as a Southwest plane was preparing to land, investigators say.

The NTSB has released its preliminary findings on a near collision between a Southwest plane and a private jet at Chicago's Midway Airport last month.
