Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan appreciated the work of all the actors in Loveyapa movie, which stars his son Junaid Khan. He also compared actress Khushi Kapoor to her mother Sridevi after watching the rough cut of the film.

Meanwhile, on 26 December, Phantom Studios took to their Instagram account to officially announce the movie. They shared a poster revealing Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan at the leads in the romantic drama. It will be released in theatres on 7 February 2025, and is directed by Advait Chandan.

The first song from Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan's upcoming film, Loveyapa, was dropped by the makers online on Friday, and the fresh pair miserably failed to impress the viewers. Instead, the song was labelled as "cringe" and netizens questioned the lyrics and visuals of the track as well.
