An Israeli strike on Beirut on Tuesday killed a Hezbollah official handling Palestinian affairs, in the second such raid within days on the Lebanese militant group's stronghold despite a four-month ceasefire.

An Israeli airstrike on Tuesday killed four people in Beirut’s southern suburbs, including a Hezbollah official. The Israeli military identified the deceased official, Hassan Bdeir, as both a member of Hezbollah’s military wing and Iran’s Quds Force.

Israel’s army said it hit a Hezbollah drone storage facility in Dahiyeh, which it called a militant stronghold.
