A golf outing in West Palm Beach became a crime scene after the Secret Service stopped another alleged assassination attempt against Donald Trump.

The FBI says Donald Trump was the target of “what appears to be an attempted assassination” at his golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida.

"We have a very strong interest in holding this suspect accountable," Governor Ron DeSantis said while speaking to reporters.

Federal investigators are scouring electronics and examining other evidence as they work to bring more serious charges against the suspect in the apparent assassination of Donald Trump at a Florida golf club,

Another public defender has been added to the federal criminal case against the man suspected of trying to kill former President Donald Trump, according to court documents. Ryan Wesley Routh is accused of pushing the muzzle of an AK-style rifle through the fence perimeter of a Florida golf course the former president was on Sunday.

The efforts come after an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at a rally in July, and after Secret Service agents arrested a man with a rifle hiding on the golf course at Trump's Florida club.
