The Singapore Grand Prix could be Daniel Ricciardo’s last Formula One race, the RB driver admits, with Liam Lawson set to replace him. But Max Verstappen has urged his former teammate to look back on his career with pride – and maybe take some time off and ‘chill back at the farm’.

After losing his McLaren seat at the end of 2022, eight-time grand prix winner Ricciardo returned to F1 midway through 2023 with Red Bull’s sister team, AlphaTauri, now known as RB. He quickly set his sights on returning to the senior Red Bull team, where he raced between 2014 and 2018.

And he’s done it all with his trademark smile spread across his face.
