Intel's "Arrow Lake" architecture has returned for a redemption tour on laptops with the debut of Intel Core Ultra 200H and Intel Core Ultra 200HX chipsets.

Intel is revving up its AI chip lineup at CES 2025. Today, the company unveiled the Core Ultra 200H chips for "performance thin and light" notebooks, alongside the Core Ultra 200HX chips for mobile gamers who demand powerful discrete GPUs.

Intel has been steadily losing share in the PC CPU market to Advanced Micro Devices over much of the past decade. In the laptop CPU market, Intel still held a 77.7% unit market share in the second quarter of 2024. However, that's down from more than 90% in 2016.

At CES 2025, Intel has announced that Arrow Lake, the CPU architecture behind the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, is coming to gaming laptops.

The company's typical slew of CES announcements made answering "Which do you want?" more difficult than usual.

The Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors are rolling out later in the year, introducing improved performance and better protection against malware.

Intel's press demos at CES 2025 include three ODM laptops and two mini dev kits for Panther Lake, powered by Celestial GPU architecture.
