If you go to Memphis, Graceland is a must see! So cool to be taken back to the 70’s and see how Elvis lived. You’ll leave with great stories and pics. The mansion is a must see! The cars, airplane, … Full review by Robert W

Hi can anyone please recommend a nice clean safe hotel in Memphis. Some of the reviews I have read for some of the chain hotels which you'd expect to be decent are horrendous ie crowne plaza downtown and some marriott group hotels.

I am planning on visiting next spring and will probably need to use a walker by then. Is the mansion walker friendly?

Hopefully someone will respond that is in the same situation. As I recall the only stairs are to get inside. Once inside it's one level except for a small part that is downstairs, more like the basement. The tour does not include Elvis' private sleeping quarters or anything else on the top floor.
If I purchase a vip tour ticket for the mansion etc can you walk back to the mansion later without going back inside just to take photos outside etc when it's not so busy

Me and my partner came back from memphis last week. Graceland is good and when you go across the road to to see his jump suits cars and other stuff and other stuff that he had. You can go back to graceland from the complex but we only went back once more as there's loads to see in the complex. Depending on what tour you get there's quite a few to choose from

Well… not actually public like you’d find in a roadside fast food joint where anyone can pop in and out, walk in and use the facilities from a free parking lot. Whether you are at the Guest House or the complex you have to go through a security gate and pay to park… so.. it’s not like completely free and definitely not a quick stop like the aforementioned fast food lol Once you’ve parked it is free in the ticket taking area.
