We booked the giraffe feed in June - think it was £20 for up to family of five, but was just the two of us. Lovely staff and you’re taken into an enclosed area by their field, but was a lot more people feeding than we’d hoped - think there was about 16 of us so you get divided into groups and take it in turns to have your own family time for about 5-10 mins with one giraffe - they had two giraffes to feed, a third wasn’t playing ball . You get given a large plastic pot with herb stalks - you hold one up at the designated high fenced area and the giraffe leans over and gently takes it - amazing long tongues. Little children were on parents shoulders feeding them, so gentle. My 30 yr old daughter loved it - I was taking the photos. So would definitely recommend doing it - not cheap but it’s memorable. Just be prepared to share the experience with others - we’d assumed it’d be a fairly exclusive thing to do. Nice moneymaker for the zoo though…
