Black Down Dorset

Blackdown is a village in Broadwindsor parish in the west of Dorset, England, situated on the B3165 road 7 miles west of Beaminster. It had a population of 128 at the 2001 Census. The village lies at the foot of Blackdown Hill, which at 215 metres is one of Dorset's high points from which there are extensive views of the local area.
